Artist Inspiration:

Cheryl’s wide ranging work reflects her Maritime roots with collections such as ’The outport Trail’-A Newfoundland retrospective, ‘Terre et Ciel’ paintings of Quebec city and the Charlevoix region. Her connection to nature and the element of water provides the inspiration for her work.

  • In House artist and Gallerist at C.Miles Goldring -Canadian Landscape Artist, Burlington @652 Spring Gardens Road.                                              
  • Studied with renown watercolorist Mel Stabin,landcape artists Gordon Harrison, David Langevin and Chinese master brushpainter Leo Wong at Sheridan University.
  • Solo exhibitions and juried shows at Paletta, the Seaton Gallery, the Art Gallery of Burlington(AGB). Exhibits at galleries in Hamilton and Haldimnd county, Quebec,as well as Artfest Toronto 2016. Exhibited at the All guilds show  at the Art Gallery of Burlington in 2017.
  • her art was featured in the Hamilton Spectator and Burlington Post in 2014 and 2015
  • Her paintings have been gifted to dignitaries in the Netherlands and Japan.
  • Is a juried member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
  • Her paintings including commissioned works can be seen in private collections in Ontario, New Brunswick ,Quebec and across Canada. 
  • Continues to donate her time as well as her art to community organizations such as The Burlington Community Foundation, the Halton Learning Foundation,The Humane Society, the AGB and many more.
  • is currently working on a series of Waterfalls in the Hamilton, Burlington Area to be ready for the Fall of 2018
  • Her commissions are sought after especially in the Haliiburton and Muskoka regions
